The Subdivision Ordinance serves to regulate and control the design and improvement of land being divided in the unincorporated areas of the County. The Subdivision Ordinance, updated in 2010, is in accordance with the State of California Government Code Sections 66410 - 66499.58 (commonly referred to as the Subdivision Map Act).
