Senior Community Service Employment Program

Provider Programs:

The goal of this program is to place appropriate, experienced workers in meaningful employment with a wage commensurate with their experience and skills. The program was created to bridge the gap between government funded employment services and the actual need for jobs by the senior work force.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) offers the following services:

  • Skills assessment
  • Annual medical exams
  • Interviewing skills
  • Labor market information
  • Paid on the job experience
  • Job placement assistance
  • One-on-One job counseling

Who Qualifies:

People 55 and over who are below federal poverty line and need to get back to work. (Priority service to Veterans and individuals over the age of 60.)
