Patient's Rights
The Patient Rights Advocate is an advocate for all consumers receiving mental health, alcohol and drug services in Stanislaus County. Primary responsibility is to ensure that the rights of the mentally disabled are acknowledged and upheld. Advocacy services at administrative hearings and judicial writ hearings are provided for those individuals experiencing involuntary detainment, training, consultation and client complaints regarding denial of rights are also provided.
The Patient Rights Advocate works independently from all service providers to ensure the consumer's rights are upheld.
