Jennifer Heguy has been the dairy advisor for the University of California Cooperative Extension in Stanislaus County since 2008 and began serving as Director in July, 2020. As a Farm Advisor, Jennifer conducts applied research and extension programming to improve production efficiencies on California dairy farms. Trained in ruminant nutrition, her current work focuses on alternative forage production systems and by-product feedstuffs suitable for California’s high producing dairy herd. Jennifer received her B.S. in Animal Science, with an emphasis in Livestock and Dairy, at the University of California, Davis. She also received her M.S. degree at UC Davis, with a focus in dairy cattle nutrition.
