Theresa obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Public Policy and Law from Oregon State University in 2001. She then continued on to Montana State University and received her Master of Science in Animal and Range Science, ruminant nutrition with a minor in entomology and emphasis in agronomy in 2003. After a brief hiatus in education, Theresa went to UC Davis for a Master of Advance Study in Maternal and Child Nutrition with an emphasis in youth development in 2008. Theresa began her career with UC Cooperative Extension, Stanislaus County in February 2008. She began her appointment as County Director on January 1, 2013 and oversaw the UC Academic staff until July 1, 2013, when she assumed responsibility for all the UC and County business in the Stanislaus office. She looks forward to her new role as County Director and continuing to foster the strong relationship between the University of California and Stanislaus County.
