Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities as a Director are in the area of administration, staff development and budget management. Cooperative Extension’s current permanent UC staff consists of eight academic Advisors and two Program Representatives. The permanent Stanislaus County staff consists of an Office Manager, three Clerical Staff and an Agricultural Assistant.

Primary responsibilities as a Farm Advisor are to conduct applied research and extension education programs in the area of environmental horticulture. Research emphasis is in the areas of pest management and improved cultural practices, especially nitrogen nutrition, in trees and other woody landscape plants.
