Community Development Division - Emergency Shelter Grant Program

Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)

Stanislaus County also administers an Emergency Shelter Grant program. Funds from this program are used to assist the homeless population acquire housing, either in terms of temporary or permanent shelter. The funds are made available on a competitive basis to those public service agencies that are committed to ending the cycle of homelessness. Typical use of these funds include:
