What is the NSP? |
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is a federally funded program that is utilized in partnership with the Housing Authority of Stanislaus County to acquire eligible foreclosed residential units. These units will be acquired in specific unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County for first time home buyers and rent-to-own program participants. These units can be purchased by first time home buyers upon qualification of Stanislaus County’s Down Payment Assistance (DPA) (provided with other federal and local funding sources).
