The Public Works Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program is responsible for conducting investigations in the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County.

This department investigates matters involving vehicles left on public or private property which are classified as a public nuisance, abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, or inoperative vehicles.
