Everyone can do something! Individuals, groups, families, and co-workers; the young and not so young, people with experience and skills, and people just starting out… There's an on-going or a one-time-only opportunity for everyone!

United Samaritans Foundation

The United Samaritans Foundation Daily Bread Ministries provides hot meals or bag lunches to the needy of Stanislaus County seven days a week from its kitchens in Modesto, Hughson, and Turlock.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare hot meals or bag lunches, distribute meals from lunch trucks and clean up.

Volunteer shifts are available weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at all Hughson, Modesto, and Turlock sites.

Volunteers may also help sort a large donation of nonperishable foods and sort clothing in the Clothes Closet at the Turlock site and assist with vehicle and general clean up at all sites.
