Society for Handicapped Children & Adults of Stanislaus County

• The Society for Handicapped Children & Adults needs volunteers to help clients with transportation to and from doctor appointments in Modesto and outlying areas, and transportation and other assistance for grocery shopping.

  For more information, please call 524-3536, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• The society is also seeking volunteers to serve as society representatives at community events such as health fairs. Volunteer hours are generally one to two hours a day. People interested in volunteering are asked to call Jana Barton at the society, 524-3536.
