Haven Women’s Center

Assist victims of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault at the Haven Women’s Center of Stanislaus. The center provides shelter and counseling for women and their families fleeing from domestic violence and assists women with temporary restraining orders through its legal clinic. Volunteer opportunities include trauma response (hospital response to domestic violence and sexual assault victims), crisis hot line workers, support group facilitators, child care providers, Kids Count! and Teens Count! group helpers, mediation support, speakers bureau and community outreach, and general administrative support.
