Convalescent Hospitals

Care homes, convalescent hospitals and retirement facilities throughout Stanislaus County seek volunteers to visit senior citizens. Volunteers and seniors can talk, laugh, swap stories, read books, cards and letters, and play games. Volunteers can also accompany residents on walks or outings, teach arts and crafts, entertain groups by playing a musical instrument or singing, and much more.
