Children’s Crisis Center

Help protect and provide comfort and security for abused, neglected, and at-risk children.

Volunteers are needed to provide child care (reading, playing, assisting with activities, snacks and meals, etc.) and to answer the FamilyLINE crisis calls to provide reassurance and help to parents seeking focus and solutions to immediate crisis situations. Volunteer opportunities are available daily between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. at all three sites in Modesto and Oakdale. Volunteers must pass a fingerprint background check and TB clearance and commit for a minimum of 3 to 6 months depending upon position.
