Everyone can do something! Individuals, groups, families, and co-workers; the young and not so young, people with experience and skills, and people just starting out… There's an on-going or a one-time-only opportunity for everyone!

If you can find the time, we can find the need.

Catholic Charities Ombudsman Program

Be a champion for seniors by becoming a Catholic Charities ombudsman advocate. Ombudsman volunteers investigate and resolve complaints, including reports of elder abuse and neglect, and advocate for the quality of life and quality of care on behalf of residents in long-term care facilities. All volunteers complete a 36-hour training course, are certified by the California Department of Aging, and receive on-the-job guidance from trained staff. Catholic Charities provides supportive services to seniors throughout Stanislaus County.
