American Cancer Society Discovery Shop

Show off your retail and fashion flair with the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop. Volunteers can gain retail experience while they work as cashiers and sort, price, steam merchandise, and set up displays. Interested individuals are asked to volunteer four hours per week; flexible day and evening shifts are available. Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Discovery Shop is a unique, upscale resale shop with thrift-store prices featuring gently used clothing, jewelry, collectibles, and more. The shop's proceeds fund research, provide education, and family service programs toward the fight against cancer. Donations of new or gently used items -- such as clothing, jewelry, a piece of art, an antique, or a collectible -- are always welcome.
