- Agenda and Minutes
- The Nuisance Abatement Hearing Board is made up of two members of the regular seated Planning Commission and one member-at-large from the community. The Board of Supervisors appoints the members for a term of four years.
- The Nuisance Abatement Hearing Board meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 6 PM in the Board Chambers, located at 1010 10th Street, Modesto (in the basement).
- The Nuisance Abatement Hearing Board is responsible for making nuisance determinations based on investigations conducted by the Code Enforcement Unit at the Department of Environmental Resources. All violations of the County Zoning Ordinance are nuisances.
- If it is determined that a nuisance exists, the Board of Supervisors will be asked for authorization to conduct a forced cleanup.
- The Nuisance Abatement Hearing Board also hears appeals on Administrative Citations, billings and issues involving housing.
