The Stanislaus County Child Abuse Prevention Council wants your help in getting the word out about Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention.
Children in grades K-12 are invited to enter the sixth annual Child Abuse Prevention Art Contest. The contest is being held to create art work for the “Through the Eyes of A Child” calendar and Child Abuse Prevention Council publication materials. We have included a copy of the cover for the 2009 calendar.
The winning artwork will be highlighted in 2009-2010 publications. A new winner will be chosen every year and announced in April for Child Abuse Prevention month.
We are inviting all children in grades K-12 to participate. If a school is not participating in this contest, students are still eligible to participate and submit their art work individually. The deadline for entries is February 20, 2009.
