In Case of a Car Accident
|
|
|
Car accidents are unfortunate and unexpected events. If you are involved in a car accident the experience, although unpleasant, will be easier to deal with by taking certain precautions. All drivers should have several items kept in their vehicles at all times. This list includes but is not limited to:
-
A paper and pen to take down notes in the event of an accident.
-
A list of emergency service phone numbers.
-
A disposable camera to record evidence at the scene of an accident.
-
A list of any medical conditions or allergies you may have.
-
A set of cones, warning triangles or emergency flares to alert other drivers of an accident.
These items should be kept in the glove compartment or in the trunk of your automobile. Although these items may prove helpful to victims of an accident, avoiding an accident all together would be preferred. Some accidents may prove to be unavoidable, but all drivers should perform regular maintenance of their vehicle as well as practice safe driving habits in order to minimize the risk of collision. |
