The Stanislaus County
Methamphetamine Task Force is a multidisciplinary,
community-based group focused on the problems associated with
Methamphetamine use in our community. Started in January 2008
out of a prevention planning process, the MTF's
purpose is to achieve real community-based and community-invested change over
time through the use of data, alignment of social and law
enforcement programming, and leveraging of existing and future
efforts!

MTF Objectives
As a community, to understand the prevalence and effects of Meth use in Stanislaus County;
To identify and coordinate prevention,
treatment, and interdiction efforts (and gaps);
To monitor the results of those efforts
and to remedy the gaps; and
To share this information with our community
Short Term
Goals
Develop Stanislaus County Methamphetamine Indicator Report
Identify county and community assets committed to the
methamphetamine issue
Based on Indicator and Asset Report, the MTF will develop a
planning process to address the methamphetamine problem in
Stanislaus County.
