License Fee:

Unaltered Dog:

  • $150.00 – 1 year license
  • $250.00 – 2 year license
  • $350.00 – 3 year license

Altered Dog:

  • $12.00 – per year

Voluntary Cat:

  • $12.00 – per year

Delinquent Penalty:

  • $12.00

NOTE:  Senior citizens over 65 years of age receive a 50% discount on license fees.

Reclaim Fee:

  • $45.00 – First Impound
  • $65.00 – Second Impound (Within 1 Year)
  • $100.00 – Third Impound (Within 1 Year)
  • $133.20 – On-call fee (After Hours) First 2 Hours

State Spay/NeuterFine (Food & Ag Code 31751.7 and 30804.7):

  • $35.00 – First Impound
  • $50.00 – Second Impound 
  • $100.00 – Third Impound 

Livestock:

  • $75.00 – First Impound (Large Livestock)
  • $100.00 – Second & Subsequent Impounds
  • $45.00 – First Impound (Small Livestock)

The Animal Services Officer shall charge the owner, in addition to the standard fee, the actual cost of any unusual expenses incurred and provide an itemized bill of such expenses.
Quarantine Fee:

  • $50.00

Daily Care and Feed:

  • $15.00 – Per Day

Microchip Fee (upon reclaim or at monthly offsite clinic only):

  • $20.00

Vaccination Fee (upon reclaim or at monthly offsite clinic only):

  • $6.00 – Rabies Vaccination
  • $10.00 – Distemper/ParvoHPP, e.g., DHPP (distemper, hepatitus, parainfluenza, parvo)
  • $10.00 – Feline Upper Respiratory, e.g., FVR-CP (feline rhinotracheitis-calici-panleukopenia)

Treatment Fee (upon reclaim only):

  • $10.00 – Bordetella Vaccine
  • $10.00 – Deworming
  • $10.00 – Frontline Flea Treatment

Veterinary Care (upon reclaim only):

  • Actual Cost  - Offsite Veterinary Care
  • $35.00 – Level One Fee, basic examination only
  • $60.00 – Level Two Fee, examination and minor treatment
  • $135.00 – Level Three Fee, examination and extensive treatment
  • $220.00 – Level Four Fee, examination and extensive treatment, multi-day
  • $370.00 – Level Five Fee, examination and life saving treatment

Disposal/Owner Release Fee:

  • Owner Release : $30.00
  • Dead on Arrival: $10.00

Field Service Charge:

  • $45.00  dogs or cats
  • $75.00  livestock

Trap Rental Fee:

  • $2.00 – Per Day Rental
  • $65.00 – Deposit (Refundable)

Adoption Fee:

  • $90.00 – Dog, includes Rabies, DHPP, microchip, spay/neuter
  • $45.00 – Cat, includes Rabies, FVR-CP, microchip, spay/neuter, and FeLV test

Kennel License Fee (annually):

  • $100.00 - Hobby Kennel
  • $150.00 - Breeder / Boarding / Training / Security Kennels
  • $50.00  - Others per Stanislaus County Code (Title 7-7.24.010 )

Litter Permit Fee:

  • $100.00 –  per year, allows one litter per year
