Rescue organizations are made up of caring people who take the time to help save the lives of pets in need. Some will take any kind of animal, while others are breed specific. There are many rescue organizations willing to help.

If you have a specific breed, look up that breed + “rescue” on the internet. Rescues will almost always take your animal for free. The following is a partial list, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t see the breed you want to surrender.

Behavior issues are the number one reason owners surrender their dogs. Dog training may be the answer to your difficulties! We have information that can help you begin the journey to a more satisfying relationship for both you and your pet.
